He spent the first three years of his career at a large national Registered Investment Advisor in Kalamazoo and now brings the same client-focused approach to Innovia, with a strong emphasis on tax-aware decision-making.

A graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Personal Financial Planning, Jake is also a CFP® professional. Born and raised in Muskegon, he has deep roots in West Michigan. He has lived in Grand Rapids for the past three years and values being close to his family and friends. Jake admires Innovia’s culture of growth, camaraderie, and collaboration - qualities that make every workday rewarding.

Outside the office, Jake enjoys staying active - running the Kent Trails, golfing, and spending time outdoors. A passionate Detroit Tigers and Lions fan, he also likes cooking and tending to his houseplants. He and his girlfriend, Danielle, have been together for over four years.
