Doug helps entrepreneurs and families think through liquidity by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management.
Doug joined Innovia’s predecessor Strategies Wealth Advisors, in 2020 to lead the Chicago office. Prior to joining the group, he was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch as a member of one of the largest teams in the country. Doug has been in financial services since 2013, with roles as an advisor consultant at both Nuveen Investments and Invesco.
Doug currently holds a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation as well as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation (CEPA®).
He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Lawrence University and was a four-year varsity letter winner in basketball. As co-captain, Doug helped lead his team to three Midwest Conference Championships.
Doug grew up in Evanston, Illinois and currently resides in Chicago with his wife Mary Clare. When Doug isn’t playing golf or basketball, you can find him and his wife enjoying all that Chicago has to offer.
